BUSINESS AND HUMAN RIGHTS IN PRACTICE: Three Law Firms, Three Perspectives on Opportunities for Associates
In collaboration with Clifford Chance, the BHRLA is pleased to present an in-person conversation on Tuesday, June 24 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at Clifford Chance's Washington, D.C. office. The Executive Officer of BHRLA Meg Roggensack will moderate the discussion with three D.C. based partners Steve Nickelsburg (Clifford Chance), Emily Holland (Simpson, Thacher, and Bartlett), and Jonathan Drimmer (Steptoe), and their associate colleagues Nicolas Friedlich (Clifford Chance), Chayla Sherrod (Simpson, Thacher, and Bartlett), and Daye Cho (Steptoe). Partners will talk briefly about the scope of their law firm’s business and human rights practice, and together with their colleagues, discuss a few assignments illustrating practice opportunities and engagement in this field of practice. The remainder of the session will be a facilitated question and answer session among participants. D.C. based young associates and summer associates are encouraged to attend and circulate this event to interested colleagues.
